..Wednesday - Les Anglais to Les Cayes & Zanglais

Today is travel day after lunch.   But, much to do before we leave.   After breakfast most of the team went out to the community with Pastor Bonel and Etienne to visit widows, shut-ins, and church members.   Food was distributed and prayers were offered.

Bob and Don and Joe scurried with the help of three of Etienne's field agents to finish the transfer power loadcenter.   Bob had the most difficult job in disassembling the old loadcenter.   The PVC conduit entries into the box were difficult to take apart.    He mentioned that after several tries he felt divine help in getting these tough connections removed after another try.    We three took some time to eat lunch with the team before heading back to finish the project before we had to get in the RMI vehicles for the drive back to Les Cayes.

We missed the 'Farewell Circle' after lunch.   This is where the team presents its appreciation and love to the church staff and cook staff for hosting us this week.  Gifts were given to everyone.   One of many reasons we take so much in the large 50-lb suitcases!

Electrical project was completed 2-min before we had to jump in the rigs!  Whew!   The trucks were loaded and we headed south along the bone-jarring road to Les Cayes.    We dropped off RMI staff so they could go home to their families and we transferred everything to the big bus for the drive to the Zanglais Retreat Center.     We arrived just in time for a beautiful sunset!

After dinner at 7:30 the team and Lee (RMI leader) spent 1-1/2 hours have a de-briefing.   Each shared their joys and challenges and where they thought the load was working.    I think everyone enjoyed listening to others express themselves.
