.. We're GOOD to GO ! - June-5

Composing this post the night before we leave on the 'red-eye' Wednesday night, June-5, listening to Tuba Skinny, starting with "Jubilee Stomp, Royal Street 2018".   Needed some eclectic music for this endeavor!   (oh yeah, that is what I mostly listen to..)   Last night, we met at OSLC for our last briefing.   Jim Shaw had contacted our sponsoring organization, Reciprocal Ministries International and asked them to give us an update on the situation in Haiti.

RMI said that while the US State Dept. is still warning against travel in Haiti, and has assessed a threat level of four, that .. RMI has supported and escorted many church teams since April and feel that it is safe for us to travel to Les Anglais.

We also get to bring a carry-on / roll-aboard suitcase.   We each will check (2) 50-lb suitcases packed with supplies for the village.
